Nice! Even stock those wagons were darned quick in their day, with the same LT1 engine that the Impala SS had. I'm assuming this one has some fairly serious mods to run low 12s  in the quarter though.

pure comedy! I'm going to forward this to my buddy who was recently forced by the wife to sale the Mustang for an MPV minivan.....maybe will give him some hope!!!

And the wagon Queen Family Truckster turns a 12 in the quarter mile...
I'm gonna show this video to the Impala so it will know my expectations of it :D

The '94-'96 RoadMaster Estate Wagons were actually a pretty similar formula to the TBSS Idea - Corvette running gear in a utility wrapped package. LT1 and 4L60E with corporate Posi rear available (2.93 if Posi ordered). Rear air suspension if trailer pkg ordered (shocks not bags, but people convert the pump sys,. over to helper bags and perf. shocks) and HD Cooling with seperate trans and oil coolers.
...of course thats stock. Kevin's car in the video is not stock, but not too far off
Thanks Alan, car drives on the street 100% normal but sucks down the gas with the converter and 3.73 gears.
Im betting he's right around where you guys are MPG wise. Stock wagons with 2.93's get about 17 around town and up to 25 on the highway !!! likewise, when you excersize the LT1, its 12-15mpg time. Sound Familiar ??
The buildup is as follows:
Stock heads, cam, bottem end and injectors with 156k
SSRIII intake
3.5 f-body MAF
52mm Holley TB
160 deg T-stat
Dual electric fans
93 PCM tune
1.6 RR's with ex 614 valve spings
Hardend push rods
Electric H2o pump (CSI)
Underdrive pulley
TRI-Y headers
Dynomax 2.5 cat back
Dynomax super turbo mufflers
Edge 9.5 2800 stall
Built 4l60E
3.73 gears
Eaton 400# posi
MT ET drag radials 275/50/15 15X8 Telstar wheels
195/60/15 15x5 telstar wheels
Impala SS springs (front)
Removed sway bar (front)
Sprint 3" lowering springs (rear)
Cheap Air shocks set to 115~120 PSI
Helper bag on right rear
NX 150 wet shot
Mallory ignition box (controls window switch and retard)
I think that's it
Bottle heater that day was going through several fuses so the pressure was only 900 and my FPSS kept cutting on at the end of the track
I was hoping for 11's
.... TBSS's dont weigh a heck of alot more than a Woody :undecided
Im tellin ya - getting this thing to 60' is going to make all the difference in the world.
