I 'm looking for caliper paint but instead of the obvious, (red, yellow,...) I would like to find a high temp paint to match my TB. Of course I'm not worried about the metal flake. Links or phone # would be highly appreciated! Thanks!

Did you mean Calipers?

You could get the one at Wal-mart, they have about 6-7 colors to choose from, but i've never actually seen how the finished product looks

if you use high temp paint it'll get eaten off the first time you use brake cleaner when you need to change brake pads. gotta use caliper paint as it is more tolerant of harsh degreaser.

I don't think you will notice the calipers in black if that is what you are going for. I like your rims, but the design doesn't showcase the brake assembly as much as some others might. If you do it, do it red. I was thinking of white for my own to match my paint, but imagine how fast that would get dirty. I'm gonna go for red when I do it as well. I think the whole color effect looks pretty cool when driving by other cars that have this mod. Not to mention it'll look like you have some Brembo brakes.

The link above shows some white paint, I think it would be cool to have them be white, but I agree, they would get dirty really quickly. I think I will just go with black because it looks good no matter what, and I dont plan on getting aftermarket rims or anything, so you would barely be able to tell anyway.

well as we're on the topic, im thinking i might do mine copper/gold when i get the chance to. kinda like the brembos on the 350Z. They are looking a bit silvery mettallic at the moment which does look nice, so maybe even silver as well.

I think that TBLAZIN18 has enough gap to show painted calipers. I'm also waiting on my GF coils to come in, I'm curious to see what color they are and maybe paint my calipers to match or paint both of them.

they should be blue, u can hardly see them though, specially the rears as the car is so low....also in the front, only way to see them is if ur on ur knees looking through the gaps in ur rims...black or red would look nice with silver :m2:

I believe Walmart has caliper paint. I'm pretty sure that's where I got mine for my Camaro.

I fixed the thread title for ya. ;)
I used VHT Caliper Paint in Racing Red and just added a pic to my gallery if you wanna see what it would look like.
Keep in mind that it's dark here and my (stock) rims are kinda dirty.

Dude, you painted the pads too  But they still look awesome  . I'd do it but my dad's really pissed off at me for spending so much money :x

Yeah I had to paint the backs of the pads too. I'm good with a rattle can, but I'm no Van Gogh when it comes to brush painting. :duh:
When I started getting paint on the backs of the pads by accident, I painted them intentionally since I'm gonna need new/better pads a little further down the line anyway. And I know that I'll still have the paint on every nook and cranny of the calipers since I painted absolutely everything.
