I just got my TBSS, and it's got a fair amount of road rash on the body panels just in front of the rear wheels. I'm assuming this is from driving around on sanded roads or something. The dealer committed (in writing) to fixing this as part of the deal when I bought it, so that's good. The SS came from a dealer where theres a fair amount of ice and snow, so the roads were probably sanded. I got it off a dealer transfer.
What I'm wondering is how to best prevent this from happening again. The roads where I live are rarely sanded, so hopefully it won't be too big of a deal.
Would a 3M clear overlay be best? I'd rather not add noticable mud flaps or anything. The SS is pretty sleek!
Thanks in advance!
