mac,s inatke system

did anyone install mac cold intake system on 5.3L i ordered one i,m waiting for it, they said on site you have adjust AFR to 12.6 to 13.0 max , our freind spong said even with tune still having lean codes on mid range and WOT ,
so anyone had did this plz let me know how he did it and what AFR did you use

Member Spong had one on his 2006 TB with the 5.3L engine. After a period of time it started throwing codes. He sold it.

When I had PCMforless tune my PCM I told them to adjust for an air intake. I didn't give them any specific AFR settings. I'm sure if I would have, they could have set it to whatever it needed to be.

The intake is a nice quality setup and with the right tune it should work great.
