It looks as though they stick with the stock resonator, rather thaneleiminating it. From the photo, I couldn't tell whether they account for the pollution controls that are eliminated. If you live in an area like I do, the CEL can cause you to not be able to renew your license plates. On the other hand, if you can get it for $40 delivered, it might be worth the risk. My K&N cost me about 6X as much.

I have the one in the third link. The finish is terrible, if you look at it wrong it gets scratched. And no matter how much you polish it it never gets real shiny. I had to go out and buy more parts and drill a hole in the tube to attach the air injection hose. The instructions they sent with it were terrible, and they basically have no customer service. I hollowed out my stock air box and use it along with the intake.

I've got the same one vince has. I think it is a 1/2 inch too short as my air filter fell off one day. I check the air filter once a week now :duh: I've got it wrapped in pipe insulation so I wasn't worried about the finish.

Eh, I essentially got the tube free with a K&N filter, theres not really much room to complain.

here the thing with intakes, you sould really be sucking air from outside the engine compartment, enclosed box, cold air intake , or shielding from the hot air of the motor, this hot air will decrease your performance, fuel consumption allthough it my sund like it has more power you probally loosing it. If you not looking to spend a lot I would just use a K&N replacement filter, or if you dont care about money buy one of intalkes for the trunk like the K&N fipk, Volant cai, Airraid, these draw min cooler air.
