Those lights are nice but if you are going to buy a set of headlights, i would rather waste my money on the projection beam headlights, a.k.a. angel eyes, they look so much better. They usually have them on ebay for sell with chrome housing or black housing. I just wish they make them for the GMC Envoy. I have seen them on my buddy's TB and they look sweet.

Those headlights look great and thats a really good price for them!! They normally cost alot more than that.
I dont like the Angel eye style so much, looks too much like something you would see on a ricer .. same with the clear tails.
Just my :m2:

:iagree: From other posters they look good but don't give you as good lighting on the road. Good looks but bad visibility. Not something you need on a dark night in bad weather.

ive thought about getting a set of the clears as well, but for this very reason i am hesitant... i dont want to spend that much money and have a foggy piece of crap :)

I got a set of clear corners (turn signals) for the '01 Tahoe a few years ago from Ebay. The clear exterior plastic turned a yellow shade within a few months. Probably from UV exposure.
Turning yellow and possibly leaking are why I don't get the clear headlights for my Envoy.

They look good frank :D ... But only time will tell how good quality they are.
Personally i like those better then the angel eyes because the projector is not even functional on the other one, and the light output/beam pattern suffers because a smaller reflector is used.

Will do!
So far no fogging but we haven't had too much bad weather, we'll see if/when winter hits how things go with them.

I had a pair of the projector "angel eye" headlights. Installed them one day and the next day I took them out and threw them away. They were terrible. If you aimed the low beam correctly the high beam sent mores code into the heavens; and if you wanted the high beam aimed correctly, the low beam was useful if you wanted inspect the road 1/100 of a second before you drove over it. I would have rather taken the $225 dollars and watch the pretty colors as it burned.

I try.
What can I say, Work just isn't doing it for me today. I'd rather be searching for a set of 4 Bilstein shocks, the rear sway bar and the front end links.

Ive bought many sets of clears off ebay for over 6 trucks ive had ive never had discoloration or anything like that. But you do have to throw a coat of clear silicone at least i did on all the seams of the lights no leakin probs ever
also the ones on the silver tbss here are the euro black no the euro silver here is the diff.
euro silver below and euro black below that

good thread. I had the euro clear headlights on my Mustang. One worked perfectly. The other had a leak somewhere and allowed water in whenever it rained or snowed. This lead to it typically being either foggy or having condensation on the inside of the lamp even after a few days of clear weather.
I would not hesitate to order another set but next time I will take preventative measures and seal them off before installing. btw, Frankie your car looks awesome good job on the lights and bowtie.

I plan on getting the black ones.Where do u say to put the silicone?
Around the edge? or both around the edge and in the middle where the grill snaps on to the light?
I was going to get the projectors but,
1. they are expensive
2. the led angel eye only works for a period of time and can't be replaced.
3. where the low beam is, the opening is to small which means you are going to get less light (with regular lights not HIDs)
4. the projector isn't real. There is no light behind it,and from what i heard you can't put a light behind it if you wanted to!!!!!!!
Also these euros are not bad lookin' and are not that expensive.(aprox. 180 w/o shipping {i think})

Those black euro's look nice. Imagine an all black SS with Carbon Fiber vinyl covered bowtie, black euro lights, and some laser veil applied to the clear parts of the euro clears! That would be one rather UNdetectible (using Lidar) car from the front I would think!

last night I swapped out the stock bulbs Hi and Lo with Sylvannia SilverStars. They were $37 for each pair at Wal-ly World and give a much brighter, whiter, and far reaching illumination.

i just gote the most expensive chrome projector headlighhts i could find on ebay i think they were 305 shipped overnight and the projector lense isnt functional it is just an angel eye looks cool though.
as far as the beam pattern i cant really notice a difference from stock other than the fact it takes h3 bulbs instead of the usual factorys. i will be adding a HID kit by the end of this week though. the quality of these ones looks great no condensation yet ive had them about a week.
all i can say is you get what you pay for the cheap ones are exactly that go for a better set that is a little more money.
