Hello to all. I have never used a bug shield on any of my vehicles. I was wondering if any one has one on their SS and if so, what type/brand. Do they really work ?
thanks !

I like the AVS shields (easy to install, no drill needed). They do work pretty well, some bugs still get through but not as many.

Yeah, I got mine from PepBoys. Got it when they had a $15 dollar rebate. End price was $30. A word of caution though. OPEN THE BOX AND EXAM THE DEFLECTOR BEFORE YOU LEAVE. On the third try, I got a deflector that was good. The rest had scratches and manufacturing defects. :hissy:   :hissy: :weird:

I used to have an AVS bug shield. But since I was in an accident, it needed to be replaced and the dealer gave me a GM Accessories one. I have no complaints with either one though. They both serve the purpouse :)

I bought a TrailFX in smoke from PickUps Plus. The smoke was almost black, so it matched my black SS without the need to paint it. Bolts right on. $79.95.
