Hello all new to the site. amazed at all of your rides and your knowledge. I have a question on the 4 wheel drive switch, while driving it was going from 2wd to a4wd and then back. I did pull into a snow covered lot and put it in aw4d and hammered it and it did go into 4 i switched back into 2 and it went back into 2 and stayed there. Just wondering if any one has seen it switch like that before.

Yes, it is usually and indication that there is either a problem with your switch or transfer case. Some people have remedied the problem by disconnecting the batter for a few minutes and it solved the problem.

If it is still under warranty take it in.

Welcome, and yes, I have had this problem a few times. It only does it so sparingly that I dont care and since I dont drive in the snow every day in the Winter (rains in Seattle, not snow) it doesnt bother me.
