What other brands/types of spark plugs are available for the 4.2? I went to a NAPA and they said only the stock was available. I know guys on here have run others. I was just looking to find out what choices there are?

Much better off staying with ACDelco and avoiding Bosch plugs. I base that on the proven reliability of the ACDelcos that come in it from the factory with some owners reporting well over 100 k miles and no misfire detected which will set the SES light, and my bad experience in the past with Bosch Platinum plugs that were failing at 13,000 miles. My 3¢

I figured this out right after I installed the Platinum +4s, but after spending ~$35 for them, I dont really have any inclination to swap them out unless something happens. Have ~18K on them now, no problems so far. Next set will probably be Denso Iridiums.
