Just a drop-in filter, or a full CAI?? drop-in filter won't be much, but I just saw some actual data somebody with an I6 posted about the full CAI with ACTUAL dyno runs back to back (everybody swears they feel more power, but this was the first time I had seen actual data on this vehicle), and the full CAI gave him ~10hp or so, IIRC...

236 to the rear wheels? Damn, that's really good. What's your 5.3 rated at, 285hp? I've read threads where I6 guys are getting less than 200hp to the rear wheels which seems really low to me.

I'd love to see what mine puts out with K&N FIPK, E-fans, Exhaust and a PCMforless tune. I know the exhaust won't make any difference but the other things should.

Here's the 2005 specs from the GM site -

Horsepower (hp / kw @ rpm):4.2L - 275 / 205 @ 6000 5.3L - 300 / 224 @ 5200

Torque (lb-ft / Nm @ rpm): 4.2L - 275 / 373 @ 3600 5.3L - 330 / 447 @ 4000

They don't supply torque at max hp and hp at max torque.

Shame.

Isn't the 300 hp version the LH6 with dod that was only available in the Envoy Denali in 2005?

The Vortec 5300 5.3L V-8 (LH6) was also available in the 2005 TB EXT - that's what I have in mine.
