Hi everyone. I had a problem today with my 'Voy and I'm wondering if anyone here has experienced it. I was sitting at a light today and when the light changed to green, my truck wouldn't move. It was still running, but it was like the truck was in neutral. Well, I tried turning the truck off, putting the truck back in park (nice grinding sound), and then back in drive. Still nothing. Had the truck towed to a local dealer, where it promptly started to work absolutely fine. The ran a diagnostic, checked TSBs, wiring, drove it, everything. They were not able to find any problems. They chalked it up to crazy electronics. Has anybody here experienced this?
Thanks for any insight!

I had some problems like that with my transfer case and I ended up purchasing a new dash switch which didn't solve my problems but then they ran a diagnostic and said my tccm was bad (transfer case control module).
There was a tsb on the earlier models somewhere that if the flashed that module it would re-allign it.
Mine only slipped into neutral when in 2wd.
If it happens again, turn off the engine, turn the key to run without starting and move the selector switch on the dash then go ahead and start it. I had a few times where it was in neutral and i flipped the switch and it made a bad clunk, but shutting off the motor works better...
They should be able to read codes from that module as well.
One other thing that was suggested is loose, or corroded wiring causing it.
Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the info. I've had no other problems since then. They checked the wiring and for any codes, so maybe it was just an electronic gremlin. I'll keep your suggestion in mind should it happen again. Thanks again.
