Any Meets by Orange County CA

Hey everyone! im pretty new to TrailVoy. I was just wondering if there are goin to be any get togethers or meets near by orange county. I live in Irvine and i would love to participate and meet other fellow TB's.

I just moved into Corona and I think there was some talk of some members getting together around San Diego. I probably have to wait a month or so until I can at least find my wash buckets..... :duh::laugh:

we haven't had a good meet in a while, I'll try and keep an eye out on any possible spots or events that we can get another Cali meet going :thumbsup:....I need to get my rims back on, I took them off for a few to get them color matched to my Voy, but I had a few set backs due to some other issues, but it's time to get back to work on them ;)

Yeah, that was me man ;), I think that cars and coffee event is on Gateway Blvd in Irvine, I had planned on going once, but had a change in plans :rolleyes:

I still have them, I took them off though, needed some new tires and I'm working on painting the inside mesh shield and color match it to the ride.....I have my stock rims on now and it feels so weird :crazy:..I was going to be in the Irvine area because my wife has something with a job up there, but we didn't go, or else I would have stopped by the event

I'm trying to plan out a meet, but it will be after the holidays, since most people will be busy with saving cash for Christmas. It will probably be at a park or someplace that you can bring your family, for those of us that have kids, I'll keep everyone informed as to what ideas I come up with ;)

Hey guys just to let you know.. that Car and Coffee weekend meet is awesome! This is my second time I go and its different cars every week! There is everything from Lambos Ferraris Porsches Old School New School Everything.. I'll try and get some pics up in the next couple of days..

aww, you can handle the cold for a day Bill :raspberry, and I've driven in snow plenty of times, I grew up in New York and besides it doesn't get that cold in Big Bear

I won't drive in the snow:undecided But i'll sure board on it! I go up to big bear at least twice a month in the winter. I have a 2wd so I wouldn't want to get stuck. I just went this past Saturday. It's great when the roads aren't wet or slushy:)

Should we be looking for a state park, or a local park, or a business? I remember in IL. if we went to a park we generally had to get a permit. I also remember a thread awhile back about some street racers that all were arrested in Riverside when they got together at a mall without permission. (which BTW, will never happen at a mall)

we can look at state parks, local parks, etc....when we had meets in the past we met at a few parks and lakes and never had to worry about a permit, so I think we'll be okay, we also met at Ontario Mills Mall and never had a problem, I guess it was just because they were street racers and maybe they were probably doing something they shouldn't have, like burn outs or their fart cans were too loud :laugh:

So I was thinking for one of our meets :undecided, why don't we have a lunch meet at Lucille's smokehouse BBQ in Lakewood, what do you guys think?....I know it gets crowded there so we could probably meet up early hang out, check out the rides and then go eat, I've had their BBQ and it's gooood :p

I called today and inquired about Hart park in O.C. I think it is off of the 22 somewhere and I understand that we can have a parking area all to ourselves. There is a fee + deposit but we get the parking, tables, and grilles included. I was told that they have car shows all the time. They have some dates in March open. I know that Sat. March 14th and Sun. March 15th are open.


Any thoughts??????????????

I have made some calls and the fee isnt too bad, and I plan on getting the deposits back...

I would like to set it far enough in advance so everyone has a chance to clear their schedules.

i'm very interested. i'm in diamond bar, and me and the fiance have been looking for a new group to meet. seems my freinds are stuck in high school/college mode and we're way past the stay out and party every weekend part of our lives. Anyone out here want to get a meet together for next weekend maybe? Block of orange is always a good choice.

hey nothing wrong with a mini meet :yes:, we used to have them quite a bit in the past, I think I was one of the first in CA to have a mini meet back in February of 06 with Drew (OurZoo)
