I am just about to install my strobes in my 03 trailblazer. I have a Whelen 690 power supply and don't know where to put it. I use all my cubbies in the back for storage.

btw, I'm putting the strobes in the front turn signals and the brake lights, got a talon on the dash and installing lin-3's on each side of the rear license plate with a custom bracket.

Any ideas on where to put the supply? Where have you or others put them?

My first thought when installing is placing it in the cubby under the rear floor mat however you must be careful about overheating. You might look in the Audio forum where some people have placed their amp.

I have a couple remote head motorola radios that I attached to the drivers side panel just behind the rear seats. They are not as invasive as it sounds and were easy to wire in there. Idk how large it is but would it fit in that panel in the cargo area on the passenger side? I have seen many objects placed in there with a fan in the cover or simply leaving it off.

Oh, and welcome to Trailvoy! :tiphat

under the rear seat
under either of the front seats

underr the front seats is a great place for stuff. I have my siren box under there...

personally my strobe power supply is in the rear cubby, but in the dash has lots of space too.....

I wish I could put it under the front seat. That's where I had it in my Beretta. I tried it under the drivers and front passenger seat but it won't fit (power seats). I think i'm gonna put it under the drivers side rear pass seat. I'm starting the install tomorrow or sat. I'll post pics on a thread.

I have the screw in style and I don't think that will work. I need a larger hole through the outer housing, is that ok to cut?
