I had an '04 TB before my '06 SS, and I think this may be a recurring problem with the TB...

When I open the drivers rear door, sometimes the light comes on real quick, then turns off, and the DIC doesn't say "RIGHT REAR DOOR OPEN"...in other words, perhaps the door switch is faulty?

Thoughts?

gizmo was the name of a pet fish in my business class in 11th & 12th grade in highschool...

anyhoo...doesn't bother me too much, but at the 1st oil change, I'll let the dealer know...

my xuv does the same thing, almost like a delay warning, door opens and closes a second after the dic goes off, I could care less, goes off in a second and I chalked it up to it being a little "slow"..if you get it fixed let me know, I'll do the same...but I think the dlr is going to tell you it's operating within the expected parameters, and chalk it up to an engineering flaw..
