New here and have some questions!

Hey all i currently own a 05 equinox and i have decided to trade it in... i seen the tbss and im in love!!!!!!!! i found a few in my area.. the dealer im gonna check out has a silver and black AWD lt's with leather ect... sticker says around 38k each... what am i looking to pay for one of these bad boys? this cars going under my moms name as usual because my credits horrible! my brother just got his envoy denali for 36k was stickered at 41k.
we also have owned 4 gm/chevy vehicles... if that helps the price at all i dunno=/

just trying to see what i might be paying for this thing after taxes ect with the 38k sticker... any help would be cool=) thanks all

I hear there are no rebates on the SS right now.. do you have GM card points (2k, if you do and qualify) do you want to buy or smartbuy (lease)?? all factors

do not tell them you're trading the equinox in, until you finalize a price on the SS, including everything, when you go in pretend you are buying it on the spot, go in and tell them look Im getting this SS today, go through the motions, then when they have lowest bottom line you think they're gonna give...say too high, call me if you can do better, I have another dealer to check first, they'll call in an hour with a lower number, go back or make em sweat it out a day or two, then have the number on paper agreed upon, ...then tell them you are trading the other in..that should get you a good deal..but you really should have at least two places battle over you. ther is another thread on here with actual prices, reads something like, what did you pay?

I personally paid 30.5k, after rebates and haggling from a $35.9k+ sticker (lowered, was $39k before Jan 11th, or whatever the date of the GM's lowering of the MSRP's was) so in my book, I practically stole it..(let me think what I want..OK!!lol)

thing is we bought 3 of our cars from the same place.. same salesman ect.. i was gonna call him and let him know that i dont like my current car they sold me and tell him what i want and what he could do for me... my parents do the deals so i dont know about the gm points discount or w/e.. but i do know we did buy four gm's within the last 5 years..

thanks all! yes im gonna let him know i better get a great deal or we'll find a better dealership... they dont have none on the lot because i checked... ill see if any are on the way and how long for an order.. if not theres other dealerships that do have them i found over 15 in the area.. if the awd lt's are to much ill just settle for one without leather because im really looking to keep it at around 30k

Id say with current demand, you would probably have a hard time finding a AWD for around $30,000, but thats just my :m2:

called one place.. they had 5 on the lot and sticker was 38k.. i said what am i looking at paying just to get a ball figure price and he said ill give it for 36.9 + taxes = 38.9 or w/e to much for me =( i need it at least under 35k
