Ok I have been tossing the idea around of painting the black on the mirrors to match the silver, I found this picture that has it done already... I think it looks great.. what do you think??? Wish I could see what the Windshield banner says!!

Not bad, but isn't the plastic that is on the mirrors textured? Be prepared to do a lot of sanding.

Yeh they are but a good primer filler should help with that..... I think I will call a buddy of mine who works for a bodyshop.

I think its a great mod. Go for it. I've always wondered what my truck would look like with mine in white. Damn you fish, now I got something else to add to my mods list. The wife is gonna be pissed! :duh:

That was the concept one wasn't it, from 02????

If it is... I find it funny that they thought of the smoked turn signal mirrors then too...

They painted the whole mirror, including the mounting bracket .. unlike the current production SS Trailblazers which only have the outer Mirror housing painted.

I like the contrast of the existing black.

There are some other vehicles available with chrome mirror housings .. Im wondering if they make one that will fit our Mirrors

You can find ones on Ebay that fit, but they don't cover the whole mirror.

I'd love to replace the black trim...the less black trim to fade and catch wax, the better.

But since I'm a member of the "My Talents Lie Elsewhere" club, I'd probably like to buy painted (or paint ready) pieces to replace the black trim and mounting rather than sand the livin' snot out of them and mess it up.

Yeah, the chrome on ebay are crap.

Our Japanese Fat goldfish friend has nice full chrome ones.
