When I asked my dealer last week they we're still able to order.Could be different for canadian versions though..

There's definitely not a hold, mine rolled off the line last week. I'm expecting it next week or the week after.

Well, that gives me a huge warm and fuzzy fealing inside! I ordered mine on January 6th! Mine shouldn't be far behind then! :thumbsup:

I ordered mine 12/23/05 and they sauid 6-8 weeks for it. Talked to the dealer Thursday and he said it was being built as we spoke. I expect to have it in a week or so...I hope!

Those are the 6 I looked at but my dealer wouldn't go 800 kms to get one.LOL.So I had to order.I did a search of 4000km Radius the other day and there was a total of 94 AWDS.I'm in Ontario so that pretty much takes cars of Canada.

The hold is only because of the number of "sold" vehicles we have on backorder. Currently, we've placed vehicles for production thru, as I recall, May. That is not to say that we won't resume placing orders....and it is not to say that there are not some TrailBlazer SSs coming to dealerships that are not sold........

I ordered one this morning (2/17) and was told 4-6 weeks.

Longest 4-6 weeks of my life - especially since my current vehicle quit unexpectedly yesterday and I'll have to drive a rental until the SS comes in! (Watching the hands on the clock tick by slowly......)

I asked the dealer about the rumors of a hold and they said that orders for the SS are under a constraint, meaning that only a certain number of orders can be placed. I don't remember the exact number, but it was less than 400 for the entire country, split between approximately 4,100 Chevy dealers. Lucky dealers get an "allocation" which lets them order a certain number. The dealer I ordered from had one allocation and I talked to another dealer in town that had two, all of which had to be used by 6 pm on Tuesday.

I hear ya...it's been about 4 weeks now for me. Just a little heads up, the wait is PAINFUL. You'll go :weird:.
