Will different size tires front and rear cause any problems with 4wd? 265/50/20 front, 285/50/20 rear. 60 mph vs 58.5 mph. the dealer will not look at my truck until the tires match.

Well, look at this way.
You have a small wheel tied to a big wheel (when in 4x4) and you are forcing them to turn at the same speed. It ain't gonna happen without something breaking.
Speaking about braking, the ABS will be screwed up as well. And that will happen in 2wd.

YES. It will be like the front and rear will be going different speeds.
:nono: Only staggered sizing with the same overall circumference may be used. With 4WD or AWD, even mixing two brand new tires with 2 worn tires is technically unacceptable......you would need to have the two new tires shaved to match the size of the older tires still on the truck.
