I was wondering the 5.3 TBs can be lifted? I mean put a lift kit on.

yes, same ones as the 4.2 should work fine.

the bds 2" body lift will not work with the 5.3

But the suspension lifts are fine. Check the offroad forum, and look at the profiles of some of the members there. There are some EXTs lifted.
