what kind of boots do you guys wear with your turn out gear the ones my department supplies are 30 years old and i need new ones so what do you recommend

I believe the ones we were just issued are Ranger.

They are all black, leather, and very comfortable.

I will double check next time I am at the firehouse.

I have some ranger boots....rubber though....and their not bad

I have black leather ranger. I would recomend not getting ones with lace everyone that has them hates them. I have the regular ones love them.

I heard that too but I also heard they are not cheap. One guy in the fire dept has globe he said they are a little more comfortable that the rangers. My rangers hold up just fine they dont leak water. Got a good sole for winter traction. Much better than our old rubber boots. We used to slip and fall all the time.

The globe boots are a great boot i had the rangers for about 6 yrs and now that i have the globes i will not go back to a pair of rangers , but hey it's just my opinion :m2:
