Be there at 10:00 AM. Not only can we check out each others rides, but there are normally tons of other nice azz rides as well. Take the 101 N to Valley Circle. Exit and make a left, crossing the freeway. The shopping center will be on your left side. Go through the first traffic light and enter in one of the next entrances. PM me if needed.

It was the second time I met Paul, glad to see ya again. He let me drive his SS with the Vector tune........OMG.......Awesome :thumbsup: And the first time I met Scott, glad to have met ya. Thanks for making the trip up! I didn't realize that the last Sunday meet of the month is the biggest. When I pulled up there was probably already a 150 something cars at 10:00AM. At one point, I'd have to say there was 200 cars. At least 20 Lambos, and 20 Ferraris, Aston Martins, Lotus, Porsche, VW, BMW, Mini, a handful of Vettes, some classics, and many more. Looks like everyone had an awesome time. Sorry I couldn't be there had the little one, and the wife received a new shedule and wanted the family to go to church together. "Family Thang", also I was in a nissan sentra and wasn't to happy about driving there in it. The voy is still in the shop, quick question??? Has anyone ever heard this before, my insurance company is going to call GM to see how long will it take for the parts. The parts I need are not avalible. So, I may have to get a new one.

Yep, from the shooting awhile back. I spoke with my insurance company on Friday, he stated that GM doesn't have the parts I need to get the voy fixed. As a matter of fact, the parts are backlogged. I asked so whats the outcome going to be? He stated that he is going to negotiate a deal to see the outcome. The parts needed are the front support radiator bar and air flow vent. And of course a new grille. The first thing could happen is they produce the parts. Second I may have to get a new Voy. Not to happy about that since the new ones don't come with package deals. Yes they give you a cheaper price maybe, but I have the works in the one I have now. RSE, DVD, 6 disc bose, heated seats, etc. The ones they have now either have one or the other not both. RSE dvd single disc etc. OR 6 disc bose, no RSE, no DVD, unless you pay the big bucks.

Steve and I just met in a shopping center and just bs'd for like 30 minutes the last time I was down in SD. Hi folks.. sorry I've been away for a week or so, concentrating on my other passion.. my 4th Gen Monte SS. Got the recent bugs worked out with the engine and passed the emissions test (yeaah!). Just in time for the Super Chevy Show in Pomona last weekend. Ended up winning best Modified Monte Carlo.

This was the debut of my MC SS and it's one-of-a-kind paint job (10K worth!) :) I put a lot of time and money into this baby. I'm the original owner. Runs mid-13s too.
Wow, that is one gorgeous ride Mr. Paul !!! I have a soft spot for Monte Carlos, my first real car was a 1971 MC with a 350 rocket. I loved that car, and so did most of the women I dated. Letting them drive my Monte always got me serious points I could use later...:D

I wish I would have taken a closer look at your MC when I was up there, I didn't know it was so beautiful. Do you have any profile pics, or pics from the rear? :undecided

Nope.. engine isn't stock any more. :D I swapped in a GM Crate 350 and warmed it up abit. It's pushing somewhere between 350 and 380HP right now. Still passes the sniffer and visual inspection too!

The bubble window SS is an Aerocoupe. 200 made in 86, 6051 made in 87. The one in the image is an 87. I was never partial to the rear window either. Rich has a beautiful ride though.. with a 383 under the hood.

Before I got into the TV's, I had 3 MC's, and 4 Cutlass's. For some reason those were the easiest cars to fix-up. Back then Daytons, or I-Rocs, dual exhaust, intake and carb, and some beat you were good if the motor was tight. I always took the entire motor out and built new ones.

darn....I should had checked the thread yesterday....maybe we could set up a meet...might have to start a new thread:D ....well the meet with dntnvme went great(will post pics soon)....he's a cool kat, it was a pleasure to meet him and the family:) ...we might plan another meet later this month, going to detail the rides and take some sweet pics by the coast (Sunset Cliffs) and maybe submit them for the new calendar :yes: .....anyone else up for a photo shoot :D :p

We left SD @ 8pm and arrived to LA @ 9:30pm :yes: . No traffic going home, which was very nice :yes: . Also, I got the approval to get the rims this week :raspberry . After meeting with your family, my wife saw how fun it was to be rollin' in a crew and gave me the okay. Thanks for a great weekend Steve.

I really like the Giovanna...they would look really nice on your ride, and they look like they have a bigger lip also...the split cap looks good too

My heart was set on the giovanna's but just had to hear it from someone else. I am going with the solids, easier to clean. The other rims will be a bit harder to clean.

That sux that you have to work on SAT. What we can do is that the next time we meet, we do it on SUN, that way its fair to everyone. Plan it with some time so that if someone works on SUN, they can maybe switch days with someone.

I think I will go the 105 to 605 to 60 to 57 exit San Dimas. We can take a different route if you'ld like.
