Today on my ride home from work I noticed something I've seen once before but didn't pay it any mind. The indicator lights for my 4wd switch were going crazy. I was in 2wd but the 2hi and 4hi lights were lit up solid and the 4lo was blinking. I wiggled the knob a little bit and the 4hi and 4lo went out and the 2hi light blinked for a few seconds and then went solid. When it happened a few weeks ago it was just the A4wd light that was blinking. Is this maybe a sign that the switch is going bad or is it a code of some sort code. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

These switches go crazy. You need to get it replaced (hopefully under waranty)

Any idea how much they cost? I'm on my extended warranty and don't want to have to spend $100 for the deductible if I can do it myself for half the cost.

My switch has done that a few times, but since it is very sporadic and never happens again after I shut it off and restart, I dont worry about it.

mine hasn't happened in a while... it was a switch problem though.
