Hi guys

Anyways, I was looking into some gear for my TB once I start on calls later this year and I have heard a lot of good things about whelen products. This is what I found that I might go with.

-Whelen HHS2100 Siren and Light Controller //$318.00
-Whelen SA315P Siren Speaker //$138.88
-Whelen Strobe Kit Hideaways S690 //$198.00
Maybe a few Whelen LIN3s when the light permit comes through...

What do you guys think? Are those good prices? Everything will be an integrated install, the lights will be connected to the aux outputs on the siren controller. I feel it's really convenient to have all the siren functions and aux outputs on one handheld remote and will make for a very clean install.

Anybody have any other ideas?

Thanks,
Keith

Personally, I LOVE Whelen pros. Sure, they cost more, but they have NEVER let me down, including many used Whelen lights I have had over the years.

I have 2 Whelen CPS690 strobe packs now. I love the output on those. I don't have alot of experience with the siren controller you mentioned, but we have whelen sirens in our fire trucks and they work well.

In my TB I have a whelen SA314 100 watt siren speaker driven by a Federal Signal undercover siren, and it is REALLY loud

I have always been of the opinion that you can not go wrong with whelen . Plus, they are all made in the USA!!!!

I know this is an old thread, but I myself can say that Whelen has never let me down or any of the lights we've used for our departments vehicles. you really get what you pay for.
