I know I have it on my 02 LT nonEXT. Think it was standard on all 02s, but not positive.

My '03 has it, but not activated. All new GM cars to soon have it standard, maybe by '06.

i had it on mine. I never really used it though, so when my free year was up i didn't renew it.

i never touched it. Ever! I didnt even use the free cell minutes it came with. Havent bothered to renew, and probably never will. I have AAA instead.

My cell phone and my AAA membership pretty much = OnStar in my opinion. I regret not getting OnStar for resale value though.

I dont have it on my 02 LS. I was at the dealership a couple of weeks ago and they all had Onstar.

My 02 LTZ has it but I just found out that it is the analog version which will not work in 2008 when OnStar goes all digital. I also can not add it to my Verizon Wireless plan because it is analog. There is an upgrade to digital, you pay for three years of service up front at the discounted rate of $549 and take it to the delearship. They will do the upgrade at no additional cost. I am having it done on Monday 6/6 and I will let you know how it goes.

I am lucky that my 02 TB does have the analog/digital ready equipment. Just have to fork out the bucks for the upgrade. Still makes me wonder what the upgrade really involves, new equipment or a software upgrade??
