Aftermarket Exhaust Question [Archive] - Chevy TrailBlazer, TrailBlazer SS and GMC Envoy Forum

Quick question for you exhaust guys out there, I recently bought a 2003 TB 4.2L V6. My last vehicle was a 98 Mustang GT with dual flowmaster exhaust. Well the plans for the TB are a little different, I have done some research and looked at various options, the one question I do have is what type of muffler should I use? I plan on taking my TB on hunting trips and when we go spotlighting at night I really do not want my SUV to be overly loud and scare away all the animals. What aftermarket muffler will have better performance and flow without all the sound? Please keep in mind that I plan on cutting off the resonator and adding a muffler that would be the extent of the exhaust work I will be doing.
