picked up the truck at 1230 today and drove home and with 38 miles on the clock put the belltech drop springs in front. Came down about 1.25 inches and i played with the rear adjuster but i need the back to come down more. Ride is fine just rear needs to come down.

from ground to fenderlip it sits at 31 3/4 now.

i used the 2/3 drop kit bought from stylinconcepts. (they matched summits price and had in stock)

you cant use the rear 3 inch springs so im selling those. As for going lower i was going to go with djm until i saw first hand the welds cracking and arms bending. no thanks. go to coloradofans.com and you can see pics of djm messed up a arms. I think someone actaully crashed their truck.

Did you have enough time in the saddle to tell if the ride is stiffer with the Belltechs or the stockers? In other words, I wish I knew what the spring rate was on both the stock SS front springs and the Belltech replacements. :worried:

this truck is my wifes and my toy. It only will come out a few times a month. Im starting to pull the door panels and start on a sound system.

NORCAL SS

kit is 300 shipped from summit but you can only use the belltech front sprinsg and belltech rear shocks. so im selling my tbss springs and brand new belltech 3 inch drop coils and billstein shocks for someone that wants to lower their regular trailblazer because the tbss is a nice spring. i do all my work on car suspensions

it looks good and all but i kinda want to see what it looks like next to a regular height ss. im gonna put a 22in wheel on it and was wondering if it would even work to also lower it? i didnt know if it was a one or the other type thing

NORCAL SS

the belltech spring is the lowest spring out for the trailblazers.

front is at 30.75 from ground to fenderlip which is about 1.25 lower than stock. rear i have set at 31.25 from ground to fenderlip.

im going to cut about half of a loop see what that does then move up if needed i want to bring the front down 1 more inch.

did you void your warrenty when you lowered it?

ugotmale2day
03-17-2006, 11:03 PM
Yea what does it say about lowering and warranty? Iam also curious, but thats does look sweet, who cares about warranty.

NORCAL SS
03-17-2006, 11:29 PM
my dealership lowers trucks and lifts them. the ony thing if the dealership are pricks is that voids your shock/strut warranty

parts will be about 300-310 bucks and shops dont know how much they charge. 4 wheel parts is out in san jose i think they do lowering stuff you can ask them.
