I want to keep the stock air box on my 5.3 trailblazer but get rid of the resinator. I have heard of another intake tube that would work\fit but couldn't find the info. Thanks for the help!

True Flow has one that works with the stock air box. It replaces the filter and the intake tube with a dyno-tested new product. They've found that the stock air box works best to keep the intake charge cool, so they retain it.

I'm making the switch from a K&N drop in to the True Flow intake on my 4.2. In my off-road use, I've found that the True Flow foam filter works FAR better at trapping crud before it gets into the intake track than does the K&N. Time to fix the street car also.

They have dyno sheets available. www.trueflow.com (http://www.trueflow.com)

Did anyone ever end up getting the 6.0L one for their 5.3l truck? I want to know if there were any fitment or tuning issues.
Thanks!

Update: I just bit the bullet and order the True Flow. I'll update on the install and how I feel about he experience. (Not gonna dyno unless i can get some free dyno time, which is not likely).

I entered in my 2006 Envoy, it came up with 2 choices on their site (this was before you posted this btw). There was a choice of either the 4.2 or the 6.0 (separate choices mind you). Not seeing a 5.3L option I chose the 6.0L option (they are supposed to be the same right?) I received the 10507 which is not the right part. The 10505 is based on the install guide and its photos)

I sent the email with the explanation and they seem to be getting on the replacement quickly. So I will wait and see what happens. Looks like the choices listed here are wrong too.

For the 2006 4.2L-10507
For the 2006 5.3L-10505

I can not confirm the 6.0L part number, i could not imagine it being the same as the 4.2L

Okay, i need some help. I received this email from the above mentioned website.

"We checked with the manufacturer regarding your return request and they advised that they do not have an application to fit the 06 w/ 5.3L. They also verified that 10505 will not work...it only goes through 04. Please advise how you would like us to proceed."

Does anyone know if the True Flow 10505 will work on an 06 5.3L? I really don't want to have to pay the restocking fee for the 10507 I have in my possession. Would anyone want this at the price i paid plus shipping?
