Are WIX filters OK for my 2005 Trailblazer?

Yes, Wix makes good filters.

Yes. But I use Napa Gold. They come highly recommended.

The reason I want to use the wix filters is price--virtually free! I have a friend that works for carquest and can get at cost:thumbsup:

As you can see, the Napa Gold are made by Wix! I thought that was true, but didn't want to say till I confirmed it. (If only I had a better memory!)

If you can get the Wix filters at cost, then go for it. That said, I think (darn memory again) I paid less than $8 for my Napa Gold. So maybe you'll save $4-5 a couple times a year.

 Thank you so much! I do fell better now that I realize they are the same. My truck is coming on 100000 and I need to spend a lot of $s on several things:hopeless but need to keep up our Trailblazer so it can give us many more miles. Luckily we have had NO issues with it yet, but thanks to the many members on here I am ready to tackle the routine maintenance deals!
