STEALTH SS 03-07-2006, 11:53 PM Ran another new best tonight :D , This is with Vector tune , K/N filter , and I-6 converter , still looking for the sweet spot on the I-6 converter .
Got the 60ft down to a 1.90 , best ET of the night was 13.139 at 102.98 , best mile per hour was 13.144 at 103.06 .
And to all you SRT Jeep owners reading this , your trucks are bad-azs , but dollar for dollar , the Trailblazer SS spanks the SRT BIG TIME!!!!! I paid 34K for a loaded AWD out the door , and with 650.00 worth of mods I'm running as good or better than the SRT Jeep , AND I CAN STILL TOW ! ! ! So let's see , I still have at least another 10,000.00 worth of mods to do to the SS to put me at the cost of a loaded SRT Jeep , for 10 grand I'll be running high 10 second 1/4 mile times .:raspberry

no no Mike you must have sprayed to get to 13.1's. Srt8 guys don't believe we run any good numbers with out nitrous. Its a shame the trucks are nice.
congrats
Mike

Awsome runs! I cant wait for the track to open here. Still trying to convince the wife to let me take "her" SS though.I have nothing against the Hemi crowd , I gave props to the owner of the SRT Jeep that was at the track a few weeks ago , it seems that most hemi guys get this defensive attitude if you go faster than them , there was an SRT pickup at the track last night running 13.50 at 103 , and another Dodge guy felt he had to explain why the truck wasn't running quicker , I said , I don't give a f*ck what times the other guy was running , I want to get the best time capable from my truck , and have some fun , :D some of these guys need to lighten up .
NIevo 03-08-2006, 05:42 PM Oh neither do I, it just seems that the SRT-8 guys have a hard time admitting the SS is a serious competitor. Im a member of a ton of car sites and I think that they are the worst for jumping on anyone that doesnt own what they have. I think its sad that we all cant enjoy talking about performance and our love for cars no matter where we go.

NIevo 03-08-2006, 07:54 PM Yeah Ive been missing it this winter as its been garaged and torn apart. Hoping to have it back together next week so I can drive it abit before the track opens. I added cams, all new intercooler piping, intercooler, and a small battery kit. Also waiting on the reflash w/launch control. Hoping for high 11's with stock turbo and pump gas!
CopyGuard 03-08-2006, 08:06 PM Keep up the good work.
