I went to San Antonio Raceway last night and got some realy good results. I did take out the passenger side headlight and grill for ram air. All runs were done in 4awd and launched at 2400-2600rpm The first run i got 16.2 at 88 mph. Then i got a 16.1 at 88.xx. Im not sure if something is wrong with my 4awd but it was engaging late (usually it sense the rear slip a lil then engage the front, maybe its just mine). I then lowerd the tire pressure to 22psi in the rear. Next Pass was 15.93@88, then a 15.84@88, then a 15.79@89. My 60fts were from 2.4 to 2.3. My tb weight was 4725lbs. Im pretty satisfied with my times for the mods i have, which are dual intake, with a custom exhaust(bullet muffler dumped at the rear axle). Any feedback would be appreciate.

Sounds like some real good times. Did you wait between runs for a while to cool down, or do back to back runs?
as soon as i got there i started to run. Thats when i ran the 16s. Then i let my tb sit for an hour with the hood up, and lowered the tire pressure to 22psi in the rear. Thats when i started to run 15's back to back with no cool down. I first ran a 15.9, then a 15.84, then the 15.79, and then bascially consistent 15.84's.

What is the advantage of 22# of air pressure?
to get more traction, because i was spinning badly before and the a4wd would engage late. This corrected a problem and got my 60fts down.

did you make any passes not in 4wd?

sorry bout the delay, but this forum is always dead. Nope, cause it wont switch fast enough back to 2wheel after i reach 55 ( was told by a tech not to surpass 55mph on 4hi)
