Hello All,

I seen one on a T.V. program, but cant remember what program it was.
unit allows you to switch your engines performance for specific applications, also had an interior display and control panel.

Sounds like you are looking for a handheld tuner/power programmer. Unfortunately, there currently aren't any programmers that will work with the 4.2L I-6.

If you have an EXT/XL or Envoy Denali with the 5.3L V8, you are in luck. There's quite a few products that will work with that engine.

Jet performance makes a piggy-back chip for the 4.2L, but there is no customization. I haven't heard many good things about the Jet.

Wester's Garage is working on a custom PCM tune for the I-6, but it is going slow. That would be a reprogrammed PCM with adjustments specified by you, but not editable by you. If you wanted to make a change for adding an exhaust, supercharger etc., you'd have to send the unit back to be reprogrammed. Wester's has a good reputation for quality and results though, and would likely come programmed better than you could yourself anyway. Unless you have unlimited access to a chassis dyno to test every change of course . . . main drawback will be price. Likely around $529.

Yep, the Westers tune is almost ready. :D I hope I can afford one, but my TB doesnt have a lot of performance mods, yet.

Hello all,
i think this is a great site, i really enjoy my 03-TB-LT and I am glad to see there are others that like to make their trucks a personal expression of themselves!

there is so much i would liek to do to my truck but like everyone else, funds are always limited.

so if anyone has any suggestions for low cost upgrades, please feel free to let me know.

my main delema is to make my truck either a Z71 off road style or SS style.

again- keep me in mind- and thanks to everyone that takes the time to respond to postings!!

have a great day!
