Thinking about going to Richmond Dragway on the 14th. Still stock, no mods, but I wanted to get a baseline before I do anything.

The Vette and SS share the duty of daily driver. The Vette got 28.6 MPG coming back from Carlisle, and ran 12.82 @ 109.65 at Richmond last November with 2.73 rear and runflats, (but not with my fat a$$ driving it!) :rotfl:

I just found yesterday that there is a gathering of cars every Saturday night from 6-10 PM in the Bass Pro Shops parking lot of off I-64 in Hampton. I went last night to check it out. There was everything from blown, chopped and tubbed street/strip cars and trucks, to one of the original Mini's.

Most people who saw my TBSS pull in the parking lot had no idea what it was. There were a few that knew what it was and were excited to see it. Some thought it was just a concept vehicle, others thought it was a Tahoe. Showing up in numbers would be a good idea if we make it together. Send me a PM and I'll give you my phone number. :undecided

Bass Pro Shop gathering went well considering it was the first time the TBSS was on the scene. Four of us showed and surprised quite a few visitors. One silver and three black SS Trailblazers was an awsome sight. Had a fifth member there but he was in his Sunset Orange Z06 Corvette. (Killer car)

Some had only heard about the TBSS. I had one lady tell me she thought it was a concept and not going to be produced. After I finished talking to she and her husband I have a feeling they might soon become members of Trailvoy in the SS registry. They were both very anxious to go drive one. (They'll be hooked in 5 minutes)

Will have to take pictures next time. Hopefully we can get more and line up next to one another. Had a 76 SD 455 Trans Am in the middle of the line up. Nice car with old school muscle. Lots of cars and trucks, new and old. Even had a few out there that burn Nitro-Methane.

Remember every Saturday night from 6-10 at Bass Pro Shop just off I-64 in Hampton.

Well if all goes right, hopefully in a few months you will have another Hampton Roads TBSS among you for the meets. I am hoping to get either a Blue or Red one.

Where in Hampton Roads are you located? You should come out to Bass Pro anyway. You will see some awesome work from many motor heads and and probably meet a few TBSS owners.

I live in VA Beach. So this isn't just a TBSS thing? All kinds of cars I assume? I will bring out my 88 Monte Carlo SS. I can't wait to get that 2nd SS in the driveway. But I have to sell my house first. Once I finish the upgrades, it will be on the market.

They have everything out there from 32 Deuce Coupes and Pro Street trucks to the heavy hitters burning nitro methane. No it's far from being a TBSS thing. Many times I am the only TBSS there. Bring your MC SS and you'll fit right in. In regards to groups of cars, you'll see a relatively large gathering of Mustangs, Chargers and GTOs (new) and, of course Corvettes. I'm sure you'll enjoy the gathering of those who like expensive toys.
