Sounds mean:eek: Sounds really throaty and not really loud at all. I mean its not really loud to me (depends on personal preference). Had the wife drive it so I could hear the sound outside the vehicle and she came back with a smile saying it sounds good and I know she would have complained about the sound if it was too loud. I think it is just right and only cost 60 bucks to do. If it was too loud they would have put the Magna flow muffler on today as well but, I think I will drive it awhile and see what turns out. As of right now though the exhuast stays as it stands.

Nice write-up, but how about a sound clip?

That sounds great. A few sound clips would be great.

Now why would you ever do that! The resonator is ugly.. So now you still have that ugly peice of metal in the back! Then replace the muffler with a magnaflow and it will sound 100x better. Plus with a nice long tip it amplifies the sound...:m2:

What if we cut off the muffler and install the resonator in it's place. Who needs exhaust tips anyway :raspberry

:m2: is about all that reply was worth. I didn't know the made a cute exhaust. Besides the fact that I like what I like you like what you like. Nuff said. If you were reading the post you would have seen that I was going to put a Magna flow on but would have quieted it down too much. Thanks for your thoughts.

Hey Sooch-

Are you going to leave the muffler off after driving it a couple of days? Any sound clips?

Thanks...

I am going to leave it off. The sound is just what I am looking for. I had them cut the exhaust off an I started it with no resonator at all and it was alittle too loud but when I had them reconnect the resonator it quieted it just enough so I decided not to go with the stainless magnaflow. I will have some sound clips shortly I have been swamped this weekend with to dos but that is definitly one of them. Once I get the cold air intake fabricated I will be heading to Chris for a tune. Unless Chris:thumbsup: releases his sooner.

I have a magnaflow on my truck dual in and out dumped. Really happy with the Magnaflow I was going to see if the have a set up for the SS . If not I will cut the muffler and resonator off. Install the magnaflow and install new tubing out the back with a nice tip. Anyone here installed a Magnaflow?
