I had 4wd problems...

The 4x4 would not engage. The switch would not light up and the Service 4wd light was on.
It wasn't the switch.
It wasn't the encoder motor.
It was the clean cut as shown...

Transfer case, water pump, rear pads and rotors and all the fixings made for a large repair bill.

Looks like it was cut with a Sawzall while doing some exhaust work.:o
