While not necessarily cheap, Whelen strobes are probably one of the best. You can usually find a used strobe power supply on eBay for a decent price. depending on the wattage, brand new can be a bit pricey.

Good luck with the install in the headlights... As a few here have found out, the TB install can be a real PITA to get all of the plastic shavings out...:m2:

Definately check ebay. I got lucky and found a 6 head 120 watt strobe kit for $100

Taillights are easy, HEADLIGHTS ARE NOT!!!!! Trust me on this. Others warned me, but noooooooooooo, I knew what I was doing :raspberry

I am partial to Whelen. Their quality is great, their stuff is industry proven, and it's made in the USA. I will pay more just because of that.

Anyway......

I have many long rambling threads about my strobe lights, both installed and not yet installed. Feel free to read through them sometime when you need something to do other than watch paint dry or grass grow

Enjoy and be sure to post some pictures!!!

Well, whoever warned you must have been a smart fella, maybe cause they experience it already DOH!!! :duh:

teamred250ex, I see you have an LS, so it is not likely that you have fog lights (although, it is possible), but that is where I would suggest front strobes if possible.

Fog lights are a great idea as a strobe spot. Wonder if anyone else has thought of that :undecided
