Well guys it's time to get together. Anyone up for this? Lets throw around some dates and see if we can make this done.
I am flexible and will make it happen with a little participation. We can BBQ or just bring a football or whatever else. The main thing is we can get together and show off the trucks to each other  Lets talk

Hey Brandon ..... as soon as we get this thing fine tuned I will post it up in your forum area.
Yakima .... That's about 6 hours of driving for me. Right on the verge of "Are you totally nuts" from the wife, because the border lines are so silly these days :bonk: You can always tell when the canuck buck starts to rise in value.

OK guys ....lets talk days and dates.
Saturdays or Sundays?
September or October?
Food is always involved and for our first meet I will supply Burgers of the Sirloin or Prime Rib cut. (seriously)
Kids and significant others ALWAYS welcome. Please make your suggestions in the thread and we can work on dates amongst ourselves in this open format.
Suggestions for a place (No ..... not Wreck Beach)
Later September works best for me.

How about Mahon Park in North Van?
There is a water park for the kids, with three specially designed play areas: two for children under 5 years, and one for children 6 years and older. As well as open grassy areas for football or frisbee, or whatever your pleasure is.
Just a thought.

If we put it nearer the middle of the city, then suburb types like myself in Delta, would only have to cross one bridge. However, as witnessed, I will drive anywhere to make a meet officially happen.:D
VancouverSS has suggested Queen Elizabeth Park. This makes a lot of sense too as it is in the heart of the city. Another suggestion was for Spanish Banks/Jericho beach area as it provides a north shore mountain and city scape backdrop for photos. Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and the only thing that would make it better is a whack of GMT360's in the foreground!
As for weekends lets look at the end of September like the 19th or 26th. That would give us time to clear our calendars and prepare for food. The beaches and parks will clear out in September as the tourists go away. :excited:
Shoot me a PM or post your vote here for a Saturday date of Sept 16 or 26th? (Which day is possible or impossible)
If you are thinking sooner than later then this Saturday Aug 29th is also an option. The weather is supposed to be good.

But....., if I could, I'd suggest Kits Beach.

- OK guys the PM's have been sent to those that expressed interest.
- The Dates that have been put on the board for discussion are Saturdays Sept 19th and 26th.
- Remember that these meetings are family friendly and your significant other and kids are welcome! Mrs. Blazernut needs somebody to talk to while I check out trucks. Besides that I need her to put band aids on my recurring Frisbee finger:p

Ill see what I can do, if I come home to Seattle Ill definitely make it up to Vancouver for the day.
Back in Spokane, WA so its a little more of a drive to Vancouver (probably 7 hours) to make it up but I might have to come to Seattle for another followup Dr. appointment for my nose. Maybe Ill convince my parents Im tied up conveniently until that weekend...:D:cool:
If I come Bill Ill have a few more tweaks up my sleeve and Mike, Ill fix that issue with your tune. Its a small bug in EFILive that caused it, Ive got it taken care of now. If any other 02-05 I6s want a tune let me know. I can do 07-09 TBSSs too but just with the basic BBA tune thats available free for the license cost.
And Bill, if I come up you have no excuse to not come to the NW meet in mid-Oct at Brandon's cabin, its fun up there to roll around on ATVs and just relax away from civilization.
I am still new to this so I am interested in showing up. might bring wife and kids(well maybe the wife)

I'm in for the October "Wenatchee Cabin country brownie eating" meet ....holy cow ....... its only a five hour drive ..... I'm there for sure
I am still new to this so I am interested in showing up. might bring wife and kids(well maybe the wife)
Hey Daft Welcome aboard. EVERYONE IS WELCOME! We are family friendly! :D My wife will be there as usual! And in Canada we are on a first name basis and just looking to meet fellow trailvoy members and prospective members. All full fledged Western Canada Chapter members are expected to get to one meet a year.
And for anyone who is interested, Erik has a fabulous tune for the I6 engine. If he comes up from Seattle, he can plug in and tune your truck from his laptop. Then you can try it and tweak it to your liking. Well worth the money and you don't need a Crank relearn or send your PCM to South Carolina. He skis in Whistler and tours through here around January 3 to 7th so we meet up and do tweaking for those that are interested.
So the food and the tune are great reasons for showing up not to mention you get to meet the President:D and the beautiful Mrs. Blazernut (she is watching as I type)
And VancouverSS ...... Sweet truck. Wish you could be with us!

Thanks Bill, and HPTuners??? I use EFILive exclusively, partially because I cant afford to buy both haha and EFILive has better E67 support IMO.
If anyone wants to take a drive with me in my 02 I6 thats running my custom tune that can be arranged, just need to let me know before that weekend so I can buy licenses and take the 02 not my SS.

ah yes the better E67 support hmmm ...... PCM talk. I'm good until you look inside at all the tables he plays with
Great opportunity for getting a "tune" while you are parked guys  But like Erik indicated, he has to buy licenses for each individual VIN, so he needs to know in advance if you want one. Contact him via PM for the details.
We are set to go rain or shine as we have some canopies lined up for a great meeting place and sign in area.
Everyone is welcome!

Best wishes to Grandma!
I guess the January Meet will be on the 3rd or 10th but more on that later once your plans get settled. :undecided You will be skiing the 2010 Winter Olympics runs
