I had something crazy happen yesterday when I fired my truck up after lunch. When I started it up, the "Low Oil Pressure" message flashed on the DIC. After that, the "Service Stabilitrack" message came up. All the gages were flat, except for the tach. I turned it off, restarted it, and everything was normal except that nothing worked on the drivers side door. Power windows, seat heater, nothing. The "Security" light stayed lit on the dash. I turned it off again, removed the key and opened the door. I locked it and unlocked it a couple of times and fired it back up. Everything was fine after that. What the heck.... Gremlins?

Thanks Chris!! If I just tell them what happened they'll know what I'm talking about?

Chris,

If we haven't seen the issue on our particular truck yet, would you still have the dealer pro-actively correct the problem as mentioned on the TSB? Thanks!

Hey Chris, I asked before but either it got buried or I forget the response now.

Can that fix be programmed by the dealer even with a Vector ECM/TCM?

(Wow for once a little action on the boards!! ;) )

Steined yup it sure can! Jwest some dealers will say just wait till it happens others wont.

Z06 Tom, just tell them you need the new Drivers, Passenger and Liftgate module calibrations to fix the Mode 28 issue. If they are halfway decent they will be able to figure it out ;)

I had this same problem. You can view my thread on it here: http://forums.trailvoy.com/showthread.php?t=4833

It has the TSB on there with the fix, and the number so that you can tell your dealer, but they should know already.

Yep, that's it. I'll give my dealer a call, thanks!

Mine had done it once before, this was the second time. I took my truck in for an oil change and just had them do the re-learn then. I don't think I'd make a special trip to the dealer just for this, just do it the next time you take it in...

Hell I hope this is like my 2000 GTP where I NEVER had it in the dealer! (too late with the 3M/repaint)

Therefore I'd have to make a special trip! The only dealer visit I had with the GTP was to get a Crank Position Variation Learn done when I got my DHP PCM. I did the small stuff myself (oil, pads, etc).
