View Full Version : anybody runnin 265/40/22s
like the title says, i know there knew. I was thinkin they would be the perfect fit, with a enough rubber to protect the rim. Not sure on rubbing though.

I ran 265/40R22 Toyo Proxes S/T on my TB for 2 seasons and it was lowered and never once rubbed. As long as your wheel is the right offset, you'll have no problems. I got pics in my gallery if you want to check it out or go to http://cardomain.com/id/t_blazinon22s But yeah, thats the size tire you want to run for your speedometer and everything to be accurate still.

I am also using 265/40R22 Toyo Proxes S/T and love them. My truck use to rub a little bit before only when turning on a hill in a slant. Now that I did the Belltech drop it doesnt rub at all. The 40 series tire will make you happier in the long run
thanks for the feedback. The rodes own here are pretty rough, and i dont wann a be denting up brand new rims. Im really worried about the rubbing, because right now i bascially have 2 to 2.5 finger gap all the way around. Wat offset are yall running, and do they sit flush with fender. Thanks icen

noice. Does he want to sellem haha. Those would look badars if they were powder coated black, but keep the chrome lip. The biggest ive seen on a stock suspension tb was 24's, but they rubbed like crazy( im talkin bout 30 series). Ive seen an envoy at the texas heat wave on 28s but that was customed out. It had no wheel wells.

checked MKW's site and those wheels are called M20. They are still listed there so I assume they still make them :)

with 22's you'd be bending the rims constantly in potholes. That is the sole reason that I am not going any larger than 20" when I do upgrade. I need the meatier sidewalls on my tires. :m2:

Good luck with that! Around here, they're pricks about that kinda stuff. I haven't had that problem but a few friends have and the cities don't do **** except a half-ass repair job.

Anybody know what the correct offset range would be on a 22 x 9 or 22 x 9.5 inch rim?

Our bolt pattern is unique to Trailblazer, Envoy, Bravada and Rainier, so if they drill them for a Trailblazer, I'd say they will fit.
If you want to play it safe, measure the backspace, it's the easiest way to check them before getting the tires mounted and as long as you have 6" or less you'll be fine, if it's more than 6" they won't fit a 4WD, the tire will hit the steering knuckle.

I'm running 265/40/22 on my wheels with a 1.3/3 GF drop. No rubbing at all, even at full lock. I really don't worry about the wheels, theres enough tire there . Or maybe the roads around here really arent as bad as I think they are...

Down here running those 265/40/22's No rub and awesome performance. I have the the Belltech 2/3 drop. Hardly body roll except at 55-60mph on a long turn :)
