The following was copy and pasted from another forum.
"I got to sit in a "production" Trailblazer SS today!!!
It was a CTF (Captured Test Fleet) GM vehicle (production vehicle for GM testing before going on sale to public), that was parked outside of my building at the GM Tech-Center.
Very nice!!!
It was black (naturally) and the interior was dark cobalt/black leather with suade seat inserts (white SS embroiderd on headrest). White face gauges were the only thing I noticed different for I/P other than a nice Auto shifter handle with a brushed aluminum accent centered on the grip. There were also some nice polished aluminum door sill plates with "Chevrolet" stamped into them.
The truck looked very aggressive with it's lowered suspension and the huge chrome wheels (very similar to the GP/Bonneville GXP wheels). I don't remember the name on the calipers, but the brake rotors (huge) and calipers looked very similar to those on the CTS-V.
It was definately 4X4/AWD with Bilstein shocks all around and HUGE swaybars.
The LS-2 looked right at home in the engine bay. But the lame plastic shroud that covers the top of the engine was "cheap" looking black plastic and was extremely flimsy as it's only attached by a single bolt in the middle. But it did have a cool small aluminum plaque on it that said something like "GM Performance Division" and also had the white SS logo on it too.
Not sure about the price, but if GM can keep it down to a reasonable level this thing should sell very well. I know I want one! But I just don't want the fuel bill or the insurance bill.
