Trailblaze_2002 12-09-2009, 11:03 PM I found this grill and polished it all up and now it looks so beautiful but i'd like some opinions as to if i should keep it or sell it on ebay?
Sorry don't mind the car engine mess behind it just rebuilding the oldsmobile.
barron03 12-09-2009, 11:07 PM Keep it.
liquidtherapy 12-09-2009, 11:11 PM Keep it. Hang it on the garage wall!
Trailblaze_2002 12-09-2009, 11:11 PM Really thinking about it I'd love to have it hung up on the wall and connect the old lights in it up to a battery with a switch rigged up. I may just keep it but depends on the value. I guess its kinda priceless considering its so old.:coffee
mapanch 12-09-2009, 11:15 PM Keep it! Like you said, hang it in the garage with the lights hooked up, or in a game room. Would make an awesome conversation piece. Its why I kept my Alaska plates
Silver Trooper 12-09-2009, 11:33 PM I think that is off a 1950 Chevrolet passenger car. It is in great shape and is probably worth a fair amount. I would love to have it to hang in the "man cave".
BO TIE SS 12-09-2009, 11:48 PM I'd keep it. The value will only go up so if you ever get tired of looking at it you can still sell it later.

Better to hook it up to a transformer!

That would be the old bel-air if i'm correct with the styleline deluxe trim.
Dizzlenator 12-10-2009, 11:28 AM You could always wire the lights up to a standard wall plug. That way no battery is involved, just plug it in. Maybe mock up a little of the front end with headlights, but that's getting pretty involved....awesome find though!!
Silver Trooper 12-10-2009, 11:56 AM Now, if you just had this to go along with the grille.
Trailblaze_2002 12-10-2009, 12:01 PM Lol i wish she'd be worth alot! I just simply love older cars because they were so simple didn't have all these electronics we have nowadays. Ah well i guess my Oldsmobile is the hardest thing i've ever worked on as far as electrical goes but it's actually simple once you get passed all that wiring.
JUANBLAZER 12-10-2009, 01:23 PM I'd keep it. Its too cool
