Completely stock my 05 Rainier 5.3Lw/3.73's has ran a best of 15.51 @ 88.5, 2.36 60ft on a 75 deg day. With 1/2 tank of gas and myself, weight is @ 5020lbs.

Just wondered if a Vector Tune, L6 Torque Convertor, single 3" exhaust (stealthy) with Magnaflow and Resonator from a new 6.2L Escalade that appears to have a huge outlet, Comp 1.8 rockers, and CAI would produce 14.90's.

My 02 Envoy w/L6 would stall to 2400rpm, but the V-8 only stalls to 1800rpm. I'm guessing the L6 convertor behing the V-8 might stall to around 2600rpm to help 60ft times and still maintain towing capability.

I think you'll have to start worrying about traction problems with the L6 converter in. But I definitely think you're going down the right path.. I have an extra L6 converter lying in the shop and I think I'll drop that in my Silverado (w/5.3L) and see how I like it.

Don't know about the other mods, but the Vector tune helped my 5.3L

Stock, my TL-S is supposed to be around 14.8 so if you could get it and have the same time as my car that weighs a ton less then that would be awesome!
