Huh?

I say huh cuz I thought all the 04's came with the plug on the back for trailer lights. Did I miss something?

Your trailer should have a wire harness that will plug into the 7-pin trailer plug under the TB's rear bumper. If the trailer doesn't use a 7-pin connector, you can get a converter at your local WalMart or auto parts store.

Wiring already present in your TrailBlazer, have you had it hooked up properly?

You mean you have to hook it up? I just got the 7-to-4 wire adapter and plugged it in.

Yeah I need the circle thing that plugs into my adapter that turns it into a 4 plug. I got mine used and they didn't include that adapter. Everything is wired and everything though.

gotcha! now it all makes sense. I bought mine at Advanced auto. I know most auto parts stores have them, Wally world, and a U-haul place would have them too. not to hard to find. Good luck!

Another silly question, and idea how much they cost?

I think mine was $12 or $15. I've had it for 2 years now though.

I had a a hell of a time trying to find mine, I went to UHAUL, Wal-Mart, Campingworld and the people all looked at me like a retard. I finally went to Murrays and they had it, it was $15.99

Less than $10.
Whered you get yours, I paid $21 with tax for my 7-5 pin (wait, thats why, I need a 5pin, not 4:duh: ).

Yea, all you do it plug it into the socket on the truck and connect the trailer wiring, test it and go!

(BTW, the 5th wire for my connector activates a backup circuit so when Im in reverse while towing my Epic the trailer brakes dont lock up. It was very annoying fighting with it for the first 2 years I had my TB, as on my Jimmy I had added it but never got around to doing it on my TB.)
