I was wondering if any of you guys had the tune from westers for the ss

I think the other tunes will start to pop up in some of the members trucks soon..Vector got the ball rolling, the others were and are, pretty far behind, by the summer, I think you'll have a bunch of different tunes in trucks with track and dyno time..

I have heardof the other tuners. I have a Wait4Me tune on my GMC truck love it. Never heard of the Victor tune untill I bought my TBSS. Waiting for the complete package tune,from Victor Motorsports Intake & tune. Is it ready yet :( I feel they are more ontop of these trucks then the other tuners IMO

Vector MS has the tunes ready, and I think you can get them with the CAI calibration but the CAIs are going to be available soon. There is a thread or two on the Vector CAIs in their sections of the vendors.

see i had the tune for my I6 and it will cost me nothing but shipping to get the tune for the SS he already has a tune for it and I was very happy with the one for the I6 and I am pretty sure that it will be good for the ss.

Have the Westers tune on my 03 Sierra Denali and I love it...I called the guy I got it done thorugh here in MA back in Dec when we got our SS and he had not heard of a tune for the SS yet. I would love something local, but Chris at Vector seems to be great Customer Service wise.:thumbsup:

So there is another TBSS in MA now...when did you get yours? From where? We are up in Chelmsford.

Already been to NEDW and ran two 13.9s, that are in my sig...I want to get a tune and maybe a CAI and then go again for sure.

dude i know, Westers does already offer a tune for the SS and I just wanted to see whether he installed it or not yet.. it's better to know more then just one company for the SS.

I am looking into this heavy b/c I already have the Wester's tune on my 03 Sierra and love it...with ZERO issues too.

I have a dealer in MA, 20 minutes from me...which means no down time...which is huge...The owner of Westers in Canada, has an SSR with the same motor we have so they know the motor...and another dealer in NJ is track testing now and looking at HP/TQ results....I am thinking a few weeks till all the data is available.

I think the Vector tune is awesome, and the results speak for themselves, but not having a local dealer and knowing how bad it sucked dealing with down time and shipping out my G35 ECU has soured me on that a bit and I want to see what Westers can do locally b/f I make the cross country comittment to Vector.:thumbsup:
