TrailVoy Club Stickers Now Available

Ok members and guests (future members :)) here they are....TrailVoy.com club stickers. All the free sets have already be given out. The moderators, staff writers, and the lucky 10 received the free sets.

Only style #2 & #3 are being made. #2 is silver and #3 is white. These are vinyl stickers that are cut out by machine. 3/4" high x 6" wide. The are being sold in sets of 2 for $8. (postage is included to anywhere in the world) :)

Sorry about the name change frank, I forgot that you had TBECentral.com on your truck. :o I can send you a cd with the font in case your place up there in North Jersey doesn't have it. (or i can email it to you) I would have it made here, but I am not sure if I can match your shade of blue unless you have a color/stock # for the vinyl. LMK, PM me your mailing addess too.

That was one of the first things I thought about when Tommy announced the name change.

I have been having trouble with the install actually. I have the left and right rear door panels completely removed and i just don't know where to go from here.

Well, here's the "Cliff Notes" version:

TOOLS NEEDED:

Wire Cutters
Duct Tape
Air Horn
Cell Phone
Money
PROCEDURE:

Using wire cutters, create splices in all internal wiring of doors
Loosely duct tape splices together, being sure to reverse the polarity of all connections
Reinstall door pannels
Test functionality of power window and lock controls, and speakers
Depress button on air horn while swearing up a storm -- don't want the neighbor's 5 year old to hear you!
Use your cell phone to call the nearest dealership and schedule a repair appointment
Pull out your wallet, you're gonna need it!!

Got the decals on and they are nice. One right above the handle for the rear glass (where Charlie has his "State" sticker :D ) and one on the windshield on the sunscreening behind the mirror. I was gonna put em on the rear quarter windows, but the way I drive, I'm either stuck behind someone (one lane roads) or they're alllllllll behind me. Now they'll have something to look at when I blow by them since my badging is all gone... You da man, Tommy. I appreciate it all. I'm thinking about organizing a local Trailvoy.com chapter so everyone in my area can get together and hang out once in awhile. Since I have all this extra time and all........ :laugh:

There's another guy I talk to on here that is from Slickville. I'm not sure where it's at but he said it's about an hour and a half from Pgh too. And I found another guy from Fox Chapel. So we can meet somewhere in the middle if it's okay with everyone. If I minded driving, I wouldn't have put 20k miles on the TB in 9 months. :D

How do you stick these on??
The way they are backed had me confused?

From what i can see, the letters are only stickey, so you put it on like a regular sticker, but only the letters stay?

Yes, only the letters stay on. You first peel off the one side protecting the glue on the letters. Put it on the glass (outside of vehicle). Make sure it goes on straight. You only get one try. The wax paper may not be cut straight so eye up the letters and not the paper. Once you have it one, press real good on it, you can even use the wax paper you just took of and rub it on it to make sure it's on good. Then slowly start to pull back the top piece of wax paper to uncover the letters.

Thats it your done.

Yeah, I should of mentioned that too, make sure the glass is clean and dry. :)

if you have a spray bottle you can mix a small amount of soap with water and spray it on the sticky part of the vinyl...that will let you move it if you don't like where it is placed. Just don't let it sit too long or it will stick. The more soap the more you can move it before it sticks. When you get it in place just rub the transfer tape with your finger a few times to get any excess water out.
