Last night I decided to introduce a shock and awe campaign on my city streets:laugh:
I've been wanting to waiting for it to break in but couldn't control myself any longer.I put 400kms on in the last 2 days so i figured should be good to go.And boy does she ever.
First race of the night I was sitting at the light and this guy comes up beside in a Honda Civic all riced out and revs it up.I have a 05 Civic and I know it is no quick car at all.I ask him "you really want to race" he says "yes" I said "okay" he starts reving, so I put my SS in reverse and back up like 30 feet.lol his face was priceless.He puts his car in reverse and backs up to me and says "I thought you wanted to race" I said "I do I'm just giving you a head start to even it out abit" now he thinks I'm a arsehole.I say to him."you're car does what? 18 secs in 1/4 he goes " I did a 17.6. I laugh.Then he goes "your heavy ass SUV do 20 secs.I say "something like that".So we both pull up to the light.He starts reving it up.I laughing my ass off.Light goes green and I put bus lengths on him.Just pathetic.I pull into our coffee shop.Then he comes in.Comes over to me and asks "what the hell is in that thing" I told him.he goes "you made me feel like a total ass in front of my girl"I told "tonight you learned not to underestimate a SUV.:dielaugh:
Then after that the truck started to get a crowd in the parking lot.All the cars hang out there.I'll just post the kills instead of explaining each run.I was impressed to say the least and 2 of them I think would beat me in a 1/4 but not on a cool night on the street.

06 Impala SS(I went looking for this guy,He edged me out in my GXP before)

All I can say,I can't imagine this thing when I get a tune and torque converter
