We might lose the site for a few hours tonight while we move over the most current databases to the new server. I'll keep you all posted. Just waiting for the DNS to fully resolve. When is does, the forums and gallery on the tbecentral host will be turned off, and will pick up right were they left off on the new trailvoy host. I can be contact via AIM (see my profile for SN) if any one has any questions. Also, any west coast members that could IM to check something for me would be much appreciated.

Going to start moving over the files tonight. I installed a copy of this fourm on the other site to test it. Eveything seems to be working, all issues have been worked out. :) And since there is a new version of the gallery software, I am going to update that too along with the move. I love more work...:D

By tomorrow morning, we should be fully on the new trailvoy.com server. (knock on wood)

See, what Tommy is not telling us is that he had to get a bigger server with more space to hold the "02EnvoySLE Guy" database..... We're gonna have to move again at the end of the summer when Charlie gets to 10,000 posts.... :eek: :laugh: :D

LOL, I had to take a break early this morning, so the site is still on tbecentral servers. I do have an exact copy of the site running on the new trailvoy server. :x ;). I just have to verifiy a few more things, then dump the most current databases from here and restore it over there.

All the info gets moved over. No worries. I think just avatars might have to be reuploaded by each member. Only about 63 avatars. When I am ready to make the move, I will have to shut down these forums, dump the databases, then upload them to the new site. Then change the redirect from tbecentral to trailvoy. :) 30 to 45 mins tops if nothing goes wrong.

Update: Still working on it. Everything seems to be working good. Just have to restore the gallery database and then get the most current database from the forums and restore it on the new server.

Just taking a little longer than expected. Plus I had to go eat you know. :D Ummm, pork fried rice....:)

Cool. I just finished updating all the links in the resource section. Seems to be ok and stable. Going to setup redirects to point forums.tbecentral.com, gallery.tbecentral.com, and tbecentral.com over to trailvoy.com.

The transition from tbecentral to trailvoy.com has been completed. The forums were only down for about 20 mins. The site is now running on a new server at a new host.

Anyway, please report any issues that you find.

That's to be expected. Cookies depend on the domain URL staying the same. In this case, it changed. :)
