View Full Version : Show and Shine section?

Lets give Charlie his own section ;) I think it would be cool, like some others also do, to split up the exterior section and make a seperate Show and Shine area devoted to car cleaning and care. I was reading other threads, and Charlie gets a lot of questions for car cleaning tips and tricks.

I'm certainly up for the idea... I've thought about writing some basics and general information to put in as articles, but I'm not really sure how often, or how many people read them or look at that area. It might be easier if the info was placed in a couple "stickied" threads at the top of a subforum (even the existing exterior section if nowhere else).
Which ever way is fine with me though. :m2:

I totally agree myself, i know i use his advice when i clean my truck, i dont go anywhere now without asking charlie

ROFL!! Man that just reminded me of high school... We had a teacher who would always mess with us, and whenever someone asked "Can I go to the bathroom?" she'd reply "I dunno, can you?" :rolleyes:

At HS we had color coded halls. If we were caught in a hall and did not have the specific pass, we were sent back to class ASAP. :cry:

Yeah as a matter of fact she did :laugh: laminated onto pieces of wood she kept on her desk
I'm just glad she never asked if we needed to go #1 or #2, to give us the corresponding pass :eek: :o

So wait... does that mean the walls were painted to match the hall pass or something? That's.... uh.... different.

:laugh: Nah, they had flags painted on the walls with the colors. The dumbest thing I had ever seen, but it kept kids from going other places they should not. Each area and color had its own restrooms. :mad:

I know i am still off subject, but i had to share this story:
When i was in high school a kid that was a few grades ahead of me (senior for the second time) asked for the bathroom pass in our drafting class (i went to a tech school) and didnt return the rest of the year :laugh: The next school year started and about three weeks into the first semester he reappeared with the bathroom pass in hand. sad to say though he quit that year also, but did return the next year and graduated

HA! BTW, no teacher was telling me that I couldn't use the bathroom, EVER!!
