I have a or trailblazer ,stock radio CD and Cassette Player ,it doesn't say Bose on it..OK i don't like CD's or Cassettes I have all my music on 8 gig flash drives.

Does GM have a stock radio or a way to hook up a flash drive to Listen to music off of it or is there a drop in radio that would have it ,Not a 600 dollar one ,I love music but lost most of my hearing so it all sounds like AM radio to me , But still love my music.. thanks.

I did search but just wasn't getting what i was looking for.I do know they have nice one with USB plug-ins..but a lot say for Ipod

walmart has this, i had another version by the same maker. i think it was awesome cuz it played sd cards n usb flash drives, but this one also accepts ipods in a pretty peculiar way. i think im gonna have to get this one myself.

dunno about walmart stereo's, pioneer (and several other brands) makes several budget HU's for cheap if that is what you want.

im not aware that anyone makes something via usb.

If you had an ipod you could look into an isimple for factory intergration.

Not that i wanted cheap, Just didn't want 600 or 1000 dollars in a stereo .CD and DVD's are OK,BUT just a pain ,i just like having all the songs on a thumb drive..I was hoping GM latest models had the USB hook up so i could get one at a junk yard ,that would just be a drop in.I was trying to stay around 300 dollars or less.i saw some pics of people on here buying some that have USB hookups but not sure if they are just for the Ipod or both,,,after market would be OK too.Not that i like these two, but i think that is what i would need ,,But know nothing anymore about .good or bad in stereos...

I can't find it on their site, but Walmart sells a device that plugs into your 12v accessory plug, and plays your USB stick through your factory radio with a built in FM transmitter. It's in the automotive department next to the stereo display. Not the greatest sound, but for around $25 it's not bad. :m2:

Anything that runs over a radio frequency is generally going to sound like garbage , you need something that is a direct connection into the radio .

Hey, you could check out this inline device (http://www.scosche.com/products/productID/1451) from Scosche, it's the AXIPCL2, it works on select 2000 - up GMs. Your able to connect a Class 2 iPod and a RCA device to your factory radio. I found one at buy.com (http://www.buy.com/prod/scosche-axipcl2-interface-adapter-satellite-radio/q/loc/111/207533626.html) or this one on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-SCOSCHE-AXIPCL2-Class-2-iPod-RCA-Input-Facto-/150462379287?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item230841b517#ht_2211wt_1189). It's about a buck and a quarter, with free shipping. I'm thinking about getting one myself. They look pretty simple to install too.
