The only problem with me meeting with you guys is that it has to be until next year (Jan) the rest of the weekends on this year I will be busy doing Christmas shopping, my two brothers are celebrating their B-Day's on different Saturdays and so on......but we can talk again next year to set up a meeting, how's that?

I'll be free on the 29th, as long as we have a meeting place setup. This weekend I was busy taking off my Roof racks and Gold emblem on the rear liftgate. Then i'll be taking the Trailblazer into the dealer next week for the Sunroof and Tint, so I wont have an all stock TB to show off. :cool:

I do own a cougar, but its not the one you are referring to, mine is completely torn down to the bare bones, literally. Are you talking about a white one with two red stripes? The reason for the handle is, i am building a car out of parts from three different cougars.

Im not sure if it had red stripes. The guys name was Scott and his cat was completely detailed, even the underside was painted.
Im building something simular with a Tbird made up from parts from various other Tbirds .. more than 3 as a matter of fact if you count all of the parts Ive picked up from local junkyards. :D

What year T-bird? My cougar is a 1999. the cougar with the red stripes is a 2000 i believe, he lives in Gilroy. I started the "project" 3 years ago when i worked at a Hot Rod shop, doing custom body work and paint. I just did not have time to finish it.

I have a few Tbirds, a 94 SC, 94 V8, 91 Base that I built with 95 V8 parts. Other parts on the project 91 car are anywhere between 89-97. I mostly deal with the 89-97 MN12 Chassis, and the 93-98 FN10 Mark VIII platform. Ive built a few of these cars from a totally bare chassis all the way up.

This guy with the Cougar had a 95 I believe, it was an MN12. Your body style is much newer and totally different, but I still like them. What have you done with your cat ? Any pictures ? :cool:

dayum this is crazy I use to have a 93tbird sc. I changed the bodykit and dropped four twelves with fibercglass and neon lights, undercarriage neon. man those were some good times :undecided kinda crazy how we had tbirds on know we that tblazers. :)

Yeah it is crazy tho, but not really. Alot of people I know own Tbirds or have owned one before since they did make them from 1955 until 1997. Then again, the Thunderbird outsold every other Ford vehicle by at least 2:1 .. why they stopped making it, I dont know .. too many vibration issues with the chassis because they got cheap and stopped adding structural support. Blah. :hissy: The New Tbird sucks. :x But you didnt hear that from me.

I agree, only other updated version of the old 50s T-Bird I like, i believe is called the "gentleman" or "elegant" T-bird. I forget. I'll look through my Custom Rodder magazines and get the right name.
