:( Last Friday, I installed my Hotchkis rear sway bar on my '04 T/B Ext. This installation went smooth, but I noticed with the rear suspension in the fully extended position (wheel at full drop on the hoist) that the sway bar contacts the differential housing in the center where it passes under the differential itself. This would mean the suspension would have to be at full extension or the vehicle would have to be "airborne" for the bar to contact, but nevertheless, this possible contact concerns me. I know that the factory bar has clearance, minimal clearance, but clearance. Has anyone else experienced this condition??? I contacted Hotchkis, but they didn't see it as a concern...Any suggestions???

I don't have help, sorry but could you tell a difference after installing it as far as performance/handling goes? I have been very interested in doing the front and rear on mine because it has such bad body roll. Any feedback would be great. How much was it?

I'm certain they didn't engineer it for offroad use, and 99% of the time you won't fully extend your suspension. I guess if it were me I'd only worry if you see the bar flexing or bending under the weight of the differential while it's up on a lift. :m2:

I just had my Hotchkis sway bar installed on my '05 Denali, it was on my '03 SLT. I also noticed the sway bar much closer to the differential housing than on the '03. I think the '05 Denali is using a different differential than the '03. Could this be possible?

More likely is that the V8 trucks have a more heavy-duty unit than the I6 trucks :m2:
